Treatment Plan & Continued Care
After a therapist develops a custom treatment plan for you, your road to wellness and recovery begins. Subsequent appointments are approximately 30 minutes in length depending on the therapy and can include diversified manual soft-tissue therapy, various modalities, acupuncture and/or exercises. Your therapist is there with you every step of the way and is always happy to answer any questions or reassess their approach to care if necessary.

Your first visit
Chiropractors use many tools for the assessment of any condition. These include a thorough health history and history of any chief complaint, a physical examination including observations, palpation, and orthopedic testing, all to determine the diagnosis and subsequent treatment plan.
During your visit we will identify and correct the area of chief complaint, aim to identify the underlying cause of the compliant, aim to identify any faulty movement patterns, aim to identify any physical stressors like poor posture or walking mechanics, identify ways to strengthen and weak muscles and loosen any tight muscles, and rule out any red flags (in rare cases, pain can be a sign of more sinister things in the body, we will rule this out prior to the treatment or make the appropriate referral).
The initial intake is usually about 45 minutes in length and includes a review of your health records, an in-depth review of your health concerns and goals, a diagnosis and the creation of a tailored treatment plan. Depending on the complexity of the presenting complaint, most first visits include a treatment at the end.
Follow-up Visits
After your first visit, we will determine the best course of action that will be chosen to help you reach maximum recovery as quickly as possible, this includes deciding when to book follow-up visits. Follow-up visits are typically 15-30 minutes in length depending on your health needs and the types of services required.
