Originally from Canada’s east coast of New Brunswick, Jason Freeman has ventured his education through domestic and international experiences. After completing his MSc Physiotherapy (‘18) at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, Jason came back to Canada to begin his Physiotherapy career here in Ontario. Since then, Jason has continued his education by recently becoming certified in Functional Dry Needling.
Beyond his educational background, his international experience has shaped him in multiple ways. While in Scotland, he found a strong passion for fitness and CrossFit. Jason is a current CrossFit Level 2 and Weightlifting Certified Coach who has gained much experience working with patients of various well-being and sport backgrounds. From injury prevention, to improving well-being, to working with CrossFit and Olympic lifting athletes, Jason utilizes his CrossFit background to guide his rehab strategies.
Jason’s rehab strategy is a combination of manual techniques and an active treatment approach which is centralized around functional movements. Outside of his hours in the clinic, Jason enjoys traveling and spending time working on his own fitness in and outside of the gym.
