Anu earned her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in Hamilton, where she was recognized for her strength in interacting with patients during her clinical placements by her supervisors, patients, and colleagues. Prior to this, Anu received her Bachelor’s Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at University of Toronto. Her background in cell biology allows her to connect the molecular details of what happens in certain illnesses and impairments with the clinical presentation, thus allowing for a deeper understanding of the effect of different treatments. Anu continues to use client-centered practice to provide individualized patient care that is based on the best available evidence to achieve optimal rehabilitation goals. In addition to employing various manual therapy skills, her treatment approach emphasizes active participation in individualized exercise program and ongoing education to improve pain and function.
Outside of work, Anuenjoys being outdoors and maintaining an active lifestyle. She likes to trave land play recreational volleyball, and enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
